Stabbings in the UK August 2024

I'm doing a sickie from work today and I thought I'd fill the time by doing a little search on the BBC website using the term "stabbing".

I was looking only for incidents that actually happened during the month of August, excluding those charged for earlier incidents. It's possible that I have missed some though I don't think so, unless there are incidents that the BBC failed to either report or tag properly. It's possible that I've duplicated an incident, if you see such a thing, let me know and I'll remove it in the interests of accuracy.

====================================================

I make that about 45 stabbings in August alone.

Of course this may not be a complete list, and obviously this is only stabbings, not the countless other violent crimes that in happier times would have been rare and shocking incidents.

This was supposed to be a low effort bit of copy/paste, but I must say I'm worn out now.

We simply cannot go on like this.
