This was not really the post I wanted to write.
The fact is that hate speech laws are a very real thing that we have to deal with and it is a concern that I personally have given a lot of thought to since starting this blog. It's true to say that these things come into much sharper focus when one takes over a concern like this, and I have a newly acquired sympathy for my predecessors and their decision that it was just far too risky.
I have no intention of shutting down the blog or doing a runner. I think it's important that British Nationalists have somewhere to hang out and discuss things. We are unique as far as I know in that regard. We have nowhere else.
I did ask in the first post here that everyone respects the fact that we are in the UK and we don't have the protection of a first amendment but we still have things written here that send a shiver up my spine.
So if I won't shut down the blog the alternative is to bring in word restrictions.

In fact, out there in Twitterland, creative ways of expressing certain things have given us great entertainment and victories in the meme wars.
Indeed I must highlight the excellent work of Mr Beowulf who I noticed rather amusingly referred to Basketball and Early Life Americans in a recent comment.
I suppose it's a bit like F1 where the game is that the FIA bring in rules, and the various teams do their best to exploit the loopholes.
The intention is not to prevent discussion of any topic, just to reduce the risk to myself an Mr Copy of prosecution and possible incarceration.
I hope you understand my position, which is to ensure we continue to have this place.
